<p>This actually a " Games Table" the compartment under the top was to store cards and games. It's an American Empire styled example, made about 1840. Empire furniture is not in high demand at the present time, comparable pieces sell at auction in the $150.00- $250.00 range.</p><p> </p><p>Lovejoy </p>
