I have an etching (reproduction?) of an elephant by Rembrandt dated 1637. The back has a label from F. Denks 153 West 57th street New York and the title: Elephant by Rembrandt.
This belonged to my father at least 50-60 years ago, maybe back to the 1920's when he collected books and art.
I have found a picture of it on-line but cannot determine anything about printings or quantities or dates.
Can you tell me if it has any value?
When I edited the photos to meet the two Mbyte requirement, the trunk was cropped.
The link is to the on-line image.
