It is 10 inches tall from base to the top were there is a cupid. The legs are of Pan (mythological God) . The top & doors of the carousel seems to be covered in leather & have pictures of people dressed in( possibly) 17th century clothing, & angels on the doorsaround it . Once wound up... it plays the theme to Dr Zhivago . as the doors open There is pan in the center playing a flute .
