roll top desk inley marble

Description

any one know much about this desk the craftmanship is top notch.  markings in one draw but very unclear, check out pics to see it. dove tail notching on back of draws. Very heavy, breaks down to 5 pieces.

Very few of these…

Very few of these reproduction roll tops predate the 1980's, when the values for late 19th to easrly 20th Century examples went through the roof, some for over $3500.00. Values for the reproductions depend a great deal on local demand, we currently have trouble retailing one like this for over $450.00, $250.00 at auction.
