ROMEO E GIULIETTA FIGURINES

By MissLiliana, 4 May, 2013
Description

Both figures have similar markings but both figures are diffrent in colour.

the figure that's holding hands seems like its made out of bone but u sure!

the second figure kissing is darker in colour and heavy.

are these figures from Rome ?

does anyone know who these couples are?

Especially the couple holding hands!

does anyone know what they are made from as both are made differently I'm confused.

And who made them & what year.

Finally has the value been ruined by the glue used to stick these down to the wood or are they worthless.

any help will be grately appriciated.

thank you.

History
My husband bought me these pair of bookends from a charity shop in Newcastle upon Tyne. About 3 years ago. They were 10 pound for the pair.
I think the last owner stuck on these bookends to the base of the figures so unable to seperate to check base of both figures.
