Description

Verticle rip at the top appx 2" long and one small stain. General graying like smeared pencil - maybe just dirt over time.  I framed it to keep it from further damage.

Top: "Les mots se ressemblent. Les chose*? different."  Under each image "Un visage Serin."  From the translation I received it  means something to the effect of "The words sound the same. The entity? different."  "The face of a canary".

Near the bottom right "au Magasin de caricatures d Aubert Passage Vero Dodat." Translate roughly "to the Store of caricatures d Aubert Passage Vero Dodat" Info I found on Vero-Dodat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Philipon  a Gabriel Aubert is mentioned as well.

Bottom left: emboss of what looks like a bee in a circle Bottom right:  Signed in pencil in two places but hard to make out.  Signature on far right is C. something.
