Description

Gorgous Asian Vase.  Made in China, painted in beautiful Japanese Satsuma style. Seems to be hand painted by the raised markings.  Would love to know how much I should sell this for...

Category Asian Art
Medium Porcelain
Distinguishing marks Seems hand painted. Not sure if its Geisha entertaining or a family.
Condition Excellent
Size and dimensions of this item roughly 2.5 feet tall.
Date Period ?
Weight Maybe 15 - 20 lbs.
History I received this as a birthday gift 10 yrs ago. They never told me where they bought it or how much. I would put this as mint condition but I can faintly faintly see a few dull scratches at the rim. And the underside has marks where it may have rubbed the floor.

Pieces like these are quite modern decorator items rather than antiques, similar vases are still in production.  There is not not much demand for them, the even the larger floor vases often sell for under $150.00 at auction.
