Description
It's the Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne, published by Donohue, Henneberry & co. and it has no publication date.
A couple of the pages (not many) they could fall out easily but all the pages seem to be there and the cover is in relatively decent condition.
Also, on the blank page as soon as you open the book, someone wrote their name in it.
Re: The Scarlet Letter
Hi: Sorry to say it's a reprint edition. Donohue, Henneberry & Co. was in business in Chicago 1871-1903. The Scarlet letter was first published in 1850. The book really has no significant value in the condition you describe. Might look nice on the shelf though. Regards, Sammy, Wombat Books
