simpson,hall,miller &company-Egyptian revival treble plate silver teapot 1876

Description

This is in good condition and I have two of them. Some of the plating might need to be redone. The same date is stamped on each teapot 1876 and there is a serial hand etched marking as well of B827 & B828- It has a stamped medallion that reads"Simpson,hall,miller and company treble plate"

Simpson Hall Miller & Co. operated from about 1866 until 1898 when they became part of the huge silver conglomerate now known as International silver. Values for silverplate is in a nosedive at present, though unusual pieces like this one tend to find some buyers at about $150.00.
