Description This antique treadle Singer sewing machine is complete with an oak stand the machine folds down into the stand it is a black machine with fancy gold flowering and and the end covers where the thread goes is silver with a fancy leaf like design pressed into the cover the manual with it says class of 28 and machine # 28-8 this machine also has a wooden box complete with all the  attachments (attachments No. 25638)

<p>With the exception of the singer featherweight models there is very little demand for these old sewing machines. Singer literally made millions of these machines, and most every household before 1940 had one. What this all means is value and demand for these machines is very low, at auction the treadle machines quite often fail to get a bid and most sell for less than $150.00.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Lovejoy </p>
