Description

this statue was purchased from an antique dealer, kumamoto, japan. by a friend. he sent it to me last month and i am curious as to what it is. i have no interest in selling it. i do not believe it is a museum piece.

the stuatue is

-  coated in a heavy dust. ( for better, most likely worse, i cleaned it 50% with q-tips )

-  broken in four areas. held together by the skeleton

-  flaking. as in : the paint     - colours - copper/bronze outer

                                                       - black base

statue has a hole in the right fist where one may iagine a pole , flag or weapon

i enjoy the expression and am curious as to what this fellow is.

i quite appreciate your help
