Re: Spinet desk
I have the exact same desk. It belonged to my grandfather who was county prosecutor of Cuyahoga County in Ohio in the early 1940's. I am giving it to my son for Christmas. It is in very good condition. Do you know the estimated value of it?
Re: Spinet desk
These spinet desks are of two types, those that were actually made out of an old spinet piano, and those factory made that resemple spinets. This one is of the second type, a factory made desk. most of these date from the second quarter of the 20th century, most sell at auction in the $200-400 range.
