This jug is stamped on the back with ( From G A Jegglin, MO) It appears that the stamp moved and the from is smeared and there is a smear where the town should be shown. There is also a straight mark going around the jug about half way up that I think was done at the time it was made, also there is a mark placed in the general area of the handle indicating where it should be placed. It doesn't appear that they tried to smooth this mark out at all. There are no cracks or chips. If anyone can give me more information about the jug and a possible value i would appreciate it. Unfortunately it may have been used to store motor oil. Will this effect the value?
