Description

I have spent countless hours and days online in search of this very music jewelry box and I have seen many, some that come pretty close to this one but I have not yet found this exact item yet.

Facts that I have found out about it:

  • Made in Ste Croix, Switzerland
  • The makers of this item (whether it was Reuge, or when it was passed down to somebody else, this item is said to be made when they were just experimenting.
  • On gears/mechanical parts it has 4 numbers that I cannot make out.

Re: Switzerland Made Antique Reuge Music Box with Inlaid Flowers

I failed to mention that this is a Music "Jewelry" Box. The music still plays when wound up.

Based on what I can see in the images this piece is actually fairly modern as these things go and I doubt it predates the 1950's. Most music boxes like thsi tend to sell for less than $75.00
