Three legged two piece NIPPON dresser set with dragons, phoenixes and blue birds.

Description

This is a two piece three legged NIPPON dresser set. The items are white porcelain with an intricately painted design on the lids and the upper parts of the jars. The design is a black band that has red dots alternating with orange and green diamonds. The next band down is of phoenixes on red shields dragons and blue birds. These are entwined with a green 'vine'. The band is rimmed with gold that bumps in them. All individually painted items are also rimmed in gold. The jars have the black band design with the red dots and the alternating orange and green diamonds. The lid of the powder jar has three owls on a black circle around a red dot on a green circle. These are surrounded by a green band. All are trimmed with gold. The opening in the top of the hair receiver is rimmed with gold, but there is a minor wearing of the gold.
