Description
Cabinet Plate that my great grandfather won at one of the Ohio State Fairs in approximately 1905.
From my own research I think that it is German and was produced by the Erdmann Schlegelmilch company around 1902 or so. No. 54-161 on May 16, 1902.
I have not been able to find the pattern of this plate in any of the RS & ES catalogs or online.

It appears to be porcelain china. Translucent and I can see the shadow of my hand when I hold it behind the plate.
Distinguishing marks
PROV SXE ES Germany is on the back of the plate.
Also has what looks like a gold plated heart to the upper right above the logo
