Unique cut crystals

Profile picture for user Tjas
By Tjas, 25 February, 2014
Description

Small round crytals attached to each long crystal .75"

Large rectangular type crystals  2.5"

Small rectangular type crystals 2"

Large round crystals (hard to show detail) are flat front and back. On both sides the crystal seems to do a swirl going up to the top.  2 inches long.

Round ball 2"

They are all quite thick, .75"

The cut and shine on these are incredible even compared to strass that I have.

I bought this bin of crystals thinking they were a bunch of odds and ends I could use to fill in any problems on my existing chandeliers. Always good to have a few replacements! When talking to the seller it quickly became apparent this wasnt a bin of odds and ends. The man was probably late 50's. These had been his mothers she had kept under her bed as long as he could remember, she had told them they had come from a chandelier. It does seem with the quantity of each that it very well could be a complete set. BUT... I dont know from where or what type of chandelier. Ive searched, chatted with, emailed many people and no one has seen the type before although all agree they are of high caliber in cut.

Once again, any ideas would be greatly appreciated even if just more directions to keep searching! Im hoping with this crowd you might be able to help or just might know :-)
