Description

I was told by my grandparents that this oil on board painting. Is by a Mr. Kenzo Okada done while he attended the Tokyo School of Fine arts in Japan. In the late 1920's where he did his works on landscapes. It has his initails painted in red on lower left ( K.O. just under his Japanese Name Writting Symbols ). It is 10 1/2 inches x 24 inches in size. It is in very good condition except for age showing on board back and a slight board crack( NOT ALL THE WAY THROUGH FROM BACK ). My grandfather brought this painting back after being stationed in Okinawa, Japan after WWII. I inheritited it about 15 years ago and have been wanting to sell it. But I need to find out what it is worth.
