Hi,
I found this painting at a Antique store, which was going out of business. The owner at the time said he had no ideal who made it either and what year, but he do know that it was old. He purchased it from another antique dealer. So it appears to be handed down. Nevertheless, the picture is beautiful and has excellent colors, although its antique. kept in great shape. I gather my information, that if Poe. The painting was done by Samuel Osgood for catching his wife fannie mae & Edgar A. Poe together , he decided to sign his painting F.S. Poes. Then again, if its F.S. Pao, which is an Asian name and I could not find much on the artist, but he does paint excellent work except it was done early 1900's. It also could be last name of Poo, I really can't make it out. This is where I need your help in assisting trying to find the info. Please see the painting and signature.

Correction: Yes, I do want to sell this painting, if the price is right!
However, I did do research online for the past 5 months, and the most I came up with is..., If its under the F.S. Poe signature, I gather the information of the painting was done by Samuel Osgood; He have always painted Edgar A. Poe and a few others famous Poetry writers. At one time E.A. Poe was a messenger, before he became a famous poetry writer. So to say, because he was so upset with his wife Fannie S. Osgood & Edgar affairs, he signed this painting as F.S. Poe. Mrs Osgood and Edgar A. Poe had a personal relationship because it was written in his poems, To F. S.--------, my dearest darling on & on. It appears everyone knew at first except S. Osgood, and one day he found out, but didn't want the others to know he knew about the affairs, so to express his anger at Poe, he signed this painting F. S. Poe.(as if, you can have my wife). Now, if its T.S. Pao, its an Asian artist name who is an excellent painter, but I found none much on him and his work, except it was done in the earlier 1900's, according to his birth date & death. Also, if F. S. Poo, there was much of nothing on it, except some crazy pictures came up online. This is the best I can describe this painting, and I need more help in Identifying this painting, because I know and feel in my heart it was done in mid-late 1800's, under the Poe name. I just need a little more evidence.
