Vintage Nippon tea service Mikado Blue Pattern 11562

Description

Nippon tea service consisting of 12 cups; 12 saucers; 12 dessert plates; sugar and covered creamer; tea pot.

It is blue and white called Mikado Blue and the markings indicate the pattern is 11562.  It is a phoenix flying turkey among other design work.  It is from around 1916.

I have an odd set of dishes that are Mikado Blue Nippon Pattern 11405, but look identical. I got them from my grandparents. I was told they were a super market giveaway -- maybe in the 1930s -- and that's why I have such an odd assortment.
