vintage oval rush chair

Appraisal complete
Description

I purchased this chair from a small thrift store. I spotted  it when it was still on the truck and fell in love with it,it never hit the ground .

All I know about it is an older woman who owned it passed away  and daughter was donating  items she didn't  want. There was only the one chair.

It has a very feminine feel, in that the seat, which is oval is only about 12 inches and bearly touches your thighs.

The  armrests are high and the woodwork  overall  is slender and light.

It's real rush and has no visible breakage.

no hardware  is apparent ,the pieces appear to be "fitted " together  very well.

There's  no maker's mark or label and despite  hours  of searching ,I can not find anything  on it.

I would love to know more if you can identify it.

Thank you.
