Description

Landers frary & Clark Universal No 8259 Coffee Percolator, Sugar, Creamer and Tray. Percolator has the Coffee basket and stem and the cord.  Cream Pitcher and Sugar "bowl" with cover.  Only thing missing is glass bulb on top. Earliest patent date on percolator base is 1912.
Category Silver and Silver Overlay
Medium I believe it is silver plated.
Distinguishing marks Universal stamped with patents on base and coffee basket. Also on bottom of creamer and sugar bowl. Tray has no stamping
Condition Good
Date Period 1912
History I inherited from Grandmother-in-law. Not a lot of history known but she was the only owner.

I have not cleaned it up since I am not sure what I am dealing with and did not want to ruin it.  I would appreciate any information on what this might be worth and if I should clean it or not.  Thanks Ellen
