Water Town Slide Table

By MartinT, 11 December, 2012
Description

Markings on the table state as follows:

The Water Town Slide .....

Manufactured by : Water Town Slide Company

Watertown, WI

The patent numbers are hard to read and was unable to capture the entire number

Pat No. _ 6747

Pat No. _ 422

Pat No. 04-------

I noticed a table on your site (copy and pasted image from your site) that is exactly like the one I have, but the one I have is in better condition. I'm just looking for an estimated range of  value. Does not have to be exact....more than anything just curious about the year, style of table and of course an estimated value.

Re: Water Town Slide Table

This would generally be considered a Library table, most like this date from the first quarter of the 20th Century. They look older than they are because they are in the Jacobean Revival Style. We sell these cleaned up or refinished for about $500-700.00. Jamestown made slides for several other furniture makers as well as their own line of furniture.
