Description
Complete set of Oriental furniture, including
- five single chairs of different sizes and with different carvings,
- a long seat (sofa),
- a round table, and
- a display cabinet.
These pieces of furniture were bought at an auction in Norway in 1935 (original auction paper available) and therefore date back to much earlier than that. They were given as an inheritance to the family in 1989 and were transported to Belgium in 1990 as a result. The whole set is in very good shape and was evaluated by an auction house for taxe purposes (original also available).
