1800s

Antique Brass Based "Face" Lamp

Unique and heavy brass based table lamp believed to be from the late 1800s and in excellent condition...

Two white frosted globes, each of which has three (3) raised relief "faces" and the upper one holds a light bulb.

Lamp stands 19" in height, 10" in diameter and has no markings that I can find.  I've not found ANYTHING on the Internet even remotely similar to this piece so it's pretty unique.

Heywood Brothers Office Chair Pat. 1873

Classified Tags

Gorgeous example of an early Heywood Brothers bentwood office chair with two brass medallions stating "Heywood Brothers Gardner Mass.  Pat Jan 7, 1873"

Cast brass hardware, original casters and carved Victorian legs, all in excellent original condition.

Apparently it was upholstered in horsehair and leather or fabric (there's one listed on Ebay in very poor condition selling for $600) as there are no drilled holes for wicker.

Going to the local upholsterer this morning for a quote...
