Description
I know nothing about this item exept that it is constructed of oak and on the back it says "Standard Furniture Mfg Co, Pittsburg PA." The Date above is a guess, I'm not even sure if this qualifies as arts and crafts. The only reference I can find to this company is a 1929 map of Pittsburgh I found on the university of pittsburgh website.

This pieces is not Arts & Crafts, it is actually an Empire Revival piece. Empire Revival pieces were based on American Empire furniture made Circa 1840. Such pieces were made from the turn of the 19th century until the early 1920's . Value $400.00- $600.00.
