The coin was about to be put into a drink machine when I talked the person into swapping it for a 'regular' dime. I wasn't sure if it was worth anything (other than 10 cents), but I had to know. Now, I have to know. Thanks!

With coins it's all about rarity and condition, this one appears to be pretty rough. The 1893 dimes in such condition can sell for less tan $5.00, but you should have yours examined to determine its level of quality, images just don't do the job for coins.
