Re: Gravy or Sauce Boat with under Tray

I found this on replacements.com and a few other sites but replacements is really reliable and it shows the price and a picture and some info. Here is the link http://www.replacements.com/webquote/INSMARQ2.htm?s1=mshp&423838&

you will see Plated Gravy Boat and Underplate on the page.

Re: Why have I not gotten my appraisal

It all depends on what your item is, how detailed your info was, and who sees your request - all of these factors affect whether you get an appraisal.  It of course depends mostly if someone has expertise in the particular discipline that your item requires.

Re: Gravy or Sauce Boat with under Tray

Some history on the manufacturer:  Rogers Brothers 1847:

 http://www.silvercollecting.com/silvermarksR.html

I can not see the mark well enough to distinguish which period it is from, you can review.

Their history is under the new name, International Silver:

Since brand new replacements are still available, I would venture that to get more than a new cost, you will need to find a very specialized collector sale for the old marked Rogers items.
