I know this stein is from germany, that is all it has on the bottom of it. I was given this as a gift in the 1980's and really know nothing more about it. any information about it would be greatly appreciated, and the value would be great too! thank you!!

Steins of this type are modern Post World War Two pieces made for the Tourist market. While those carrying the mark of a well known maker can be quite valuable, examples like yours often sell for less than $50.00 at auction. For a good look at the Steins I suggest looking up this site:
