Description

This Meissen vase has been well cared for and is in excellent condition with not a scratch or chip. It stands approximately 8" tall and is nearly 3 1/2" wide.

The famous "Paris Pink" used by Meissen and other porcelain manufacturers, along with the other fabulous colors, is still very bright and rich.

I would like to know what this piece is worth if sold to a collector.

Thank you.

It sure would be easy to date this if you show a closeup photo of the mark.

Meissen has one mark from 1774-1814... Is that what your age estimate is based on?

The Meissen "crossed sword" marks is one of the most copied of any in the world, plus the mark, with slight variations, has been in continuing use since 1723. The decoration on the side showing the couple in 18th century attire also looks like a transfer print.

Lovejoy
