Re: Metal Thunderbirds toy number 2 With Number 4 Inside
I can't tell if you are talking about Ford Thunderbirds, or planes, or action figures. And why are you keeping the maker's name a secret??
Re: Metal Thunderbirds toy number 2 With Number 4 Inside

Hirons is talking about Thunderbird metal toys from the Thunderbirds television show that ran during the mid-60's. I also had all of the Thunderbird metal toys when I was a kid - the ones made by Dinky. There were at least two runs of the toys made by Matchbox - the more recent being during the 1990's, and several runs by different manufacturers over the years - Corgi, Takara, Dinky, and even Hot Wheels. There were several Japanese manufacturers as well - Konami, Aoshima, Yugin, and Nescafe (yes the coffee, packaged as promotional items). Since there were so many versions from several manufacturers we really need to know who made the Thunderbird number 2 toy that you are referring to. It should be stamped on the bottom of the toy.

If you happen to have the Matchbox number two then it was made in China in 1992. I've seen them sell for anywhere from $10.00 to $50.00 for ones in mint condition.

Pictures of your toys would also help.

- Joseph
