Unknown brass??? items

Description

I have had 9 of these for several years and have no idea what they are, what they're used for or the value of them.  Can anyone give me any information?

These are what's called " Horse brasses" they are used to decorate the harness of Draft horses, like the well known Budwieser Clydesdales. Hore brasses are still being made, so value vary on age and design, here's some links for you:
