Hi
I'm not sure. Am trying to get valuations. It is a very nice set but not 100% sure if Chinese or Japanese. Do you have any ideas? I see you are from America. I'm in Scotland so would have to also take shipping costs into it (bit far to pop over!)

Thankyou

It is very pretty but oh so delicate and tends to be wrapped up in a box which is a shame but inevitable.

Could likely tell you more if you would post two additional photos, a clear shot of the back of one of the pieces (make it a close-up if there are any additional maker's marks there), and a close-up of that signature on the front. Thanks so much!

Hi
Thanks for replying.
I have tried to get the markings as close as poss, although they look ok when I resize them they do become blurry once posted however perhaps you might be able to make them out.I have also changed a couple of the pictures.
Cheers.

Japanese luncheon set. This is a typical mid 20th century period tea set, it can be from before or after the war (WW2). It is a Japanese export. A lot of this was manufactured in Japan specifically for the Western markets.

Value varies based on decoration, condition and demand. Are you missing a lid from the sugar bowl? This set has nice decoration and is very mild/neutral compared to other sets.

My guess from seeing so many other sets would be anywhere from 80.00 to 150.00 dollars.

Hello
No. Mistake on my part! Played around with the lids and discovered that I had put a lid on the milk jug! Senior moment. I have posted new pictures.
Thankyou
