Hi I'm not sure. Am trying to get valuations. It is a very nice set but not 100% sure if Chinese or Japanese. Do you have any ideas? I see you are from America. I'm in Scotland so would have to also take shipping costs into it (bit far to pop over!) Heather

Japanese luncheon set. This is a typical mid 20th century period tea set, it can be from before or after the war (WW2). It is a Japanese export. A lot of this was manufactured in Japan specifically for the Western markets. Value varies based on decoration, condition and demand. Are you missing a lid from the sugar bowl? This set has nice decoration and is very mild/neutral compared to other sets. My guess from seeing so many other sets would be anywhere from 80.00 to 150.00 dollars.
