Re: Happy New Year 1892 Key

The first U.S. immigrant landed on Ellis Island January 1, 1892 from Ireland. Wonder if this is a key to America like a souvenir item?

Re: Happy New Year 1892 Key

I was thinking the same thing but I can't find any information on this. I've done so many searches on the internet and nothing. I'm at a loss of the significance of this key but I am so curious to find out. ;o)

Re: Happy New Year 1892 Key

May be a long shot but try contacting the Ellis island museum. This is a really odd key. I cant see it being anything but a commemorative thing.
