Vintage pocket watch. This item was found in the bottom of a box. The box was a friend of mines grandmother. She passed away many years ago and they are just going through all of her stuff. No one in the family knows anything about this watch. I was just wanting if anyone could tell me how old it is, who made it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
On the face of the watch, there is a picture of a "village or some houses". On the inside of the first back cover it says "343" and a small engraving. I was told this was a service mark. On the other side of this, it has some fancy engraving and then the two small holes and "gears" where you would wind it or set it. They key is also with this watch. It again says the number 343 and detached lever. It also says 13 Jewels. I can not see any marks on the works at all.
Again thank you for any information.
Oh, the second hand is off of the pocket watch. But I also have it.
