Eight sided vase

By bnmayala, 29 August, 2010
Description

This is an octagon shaped vase, it has "Bauer" enscribed on bottom, the color is a beige/off white with black designs, some of the designs are shaded in grey and some have 1-3 black dots on them. I would like to know more about the potter that created this, I have tried to research this vase to no avail and would like to possible know the value.

Re: Eight sided vase

Thank you for such a quick response. I have been on the site that you sent me and on many others and have not found any Bauer vase that even closely resembles mine. I even e-mail the Bauer Pottery Company of Los Angeles and received a response from them stating that they had been looking around to see if they could find anything like my piece and haven't been able to match it to any Bauer Pottery piece that they've seen. Can you recommend other research options I might be able to use for my vase? I really appreciate your help and information.

Re: Eight sided vase

Your could try doing some research on Russel Wright, he did a lot of design work for Bauer
