I have no history on the piece. I have searched for antique desks many times buy i have yet to find anything like it. there are no markings on the piece. It appears that it has been refinished at some point.

This is what's called a " Spinet Desk", after it's resemblance to Spinet Pianos made during the 1840's. Most desks like this one date from the 1920's onward and sell in the $300.00- $500.00 range.

Thanks you ... From the pictures I have posted and what you can see should I be happy with lower end or in the middle?
