(Arabic) Hi I am new here, and just saw your pot/ I love looking up info on things like this. I have yet to find the words that match yours. I beleave it's Arabic. and I do think your right about being something the troops brought back from the war.. why else would it have a date of 1943 on only reason is to remember where they were at that time.. I will keep looking to see if I can read the writings, I will let you know... The true value on this pot is the serch of finding out who and why?

Thank you phoenixguy1954. I have already contacted someone who speaks Arabic fluently and he has assured me the symbols aren't Arabic. I think it's an African tungsten language of which there are many. Thank you for taking your time to help me. I hope you find more information. I really really would like to decipher this.
