Description
Incomplete china set. 3 x teacups, 3 x dinner plates, 7 x dished plates, 3 x small plates, 1 x oval plate.
Given the absence of a manufacturer's stamp, and the presence of a generic 'made in china stamp' my intuition tells me that it is a generic, cheap china set.
Very interested to hear the advice of someone more learned.
Re: China Set
The pattern is CX242, and if you would like to find more pieces, you can go to replacements.com and they will find them for you. I am unsure of the exact age, but probably from 50's-70's by the stamp. They usually don't mark them like that anymore. It's a beautiful pattern, and is not just a cheap newer knockoff. Retail value should be somewhere in the $100 range for the set that you have.
