It is a Barbour Silver Co. Teapot with a stamped bottom with the company name in a circle over the word Quadruple with the number 23 stamped on the outer base.

8 or nine inches tall and almost 7 inches across from handle to tip of spout.
In the images provided it looks like it's dented and the plating worn in some sections. If it is it's worth about what you paid for it, values for silverplate is currently very weak even if the pieces are in good condtion, polish it up and see how it looks.
