Re: 1957 Quartite creative corp Antique 3 cherub lamp

I just typed in the company name on Google and came up with over 2000 references to their lamps. These were mass produced decorator lamps and not terribly expensive when first sold. Yours is nicer than most, but they often sell for less than $75.00 at auction.

Re: 1957 Quartite creative corp Antique 3 cherub lamp

I did look up Quartite Creative Corp. 1957.....and yes, there were many sites listed ,but only one lamp on ebay i could find even similar to my lamps and that lamp was selling for more then 200 dollars. That lamp was the same mold ,but was not like mine in any other way( http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-CHERUB-FRENCH-TABLE-LAMP-/160710025336?_trksid=p3286.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D3%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D5451920082652155513).I also looked extensIvely at those sites and i can't find my lamp for sale or even with collectors. If my lamp is or was duplicated in mass production and it cant be found for sale or in collectables (antique shops and collector shops anywhere in Ney York or any sites online) that sell Quartite Creative Corp.1957 lamps that are like mine, then that would make them "rare" .Please let me know where and if you find these lamps anywhere.....that info would be greatly appreciated and i would be very happy becouse i would like to have more then two.

Thanks

Theresa

I was looking to price a lamp and I have this exact one.  Would you be interested in purchasing it?
