I have a Marzi und Remy Beer Stein that I cannot find anywhere
I have searched and found nothing
It is Pewter blue(dark blue with light blue) with a Zinn lid
On the lid it has notesymbols and the year 1975 on the Mug or Stein itself it has on 1 side a violine in the middle Johann Strauss with his name and the year 1975 under it and on the other side a music sheet in a shape of a scroll that says " AN DER SCHOENEN BLAUEN DONAU WALZER VON JOHANN STRAUSS".
On the side I have a Garanty certificate that says: mit dieser Seidel erwerben Sie ein Sammler- Objekt in echter MR Qualitaet. Wir garantieren fuer dieses Produkt eine begrenzte Auflage
Sie besitzen das Jahres Seidel Nr.6383
In the zinn top it has a sticker that states echter zinndeckel marzi und remy/ etain veritable pewter lid
Any information would be great

Re: Vintage or Collectible Beer Mug or Stein
I have five of these from the years 1980 to 1984. I understand they are collectibles...not sure their value, but it is said to increase with each year. Do you have the certificate of authenticity still that comes with it by chance? That may help get more money for it if you are selling it.
Re: Vintage or Collectible Beer Mug or Stein
Steins, plates and decanters of this type were often promoted with the idea that they would increase in value becuase they were "Limited Production items", but sadly this nearly always not the case. Such pieces now being 30-40 years old and yet do not even retain their original retail value in terms of inflation. Mid to late 20th Century Steins celebrating famous people fall into the same category for the most part and often sell for less than $50.00.
