Based on the markings the plate does not date from 1794, that's just the founding date of the pottery company. The plate dates from no earlier than 1953 when Elizabeth became Queen (June 2nd, 1953).These plates appear older than what they are because they were modelled after Victorian examples made during the mid 1800's. The pattern is still being made:

So then its not worth anything? wanted to sell it but not sure now if i should ..i really like the plate ...
