Description
Carved walnut details on back, arms and feet. Claw foot details on the feet. Standard couch sizing. Has been reupholstered in the 1970s, removing the horsehair stuffing. It is a family heirloom and was my great grandmother's prior to my mother.

It's in the Classical Revival style first popular during the early 1800's and revived again at the turn of the 19th Century. It's very hard to tell from images which is which. Right now at auction a comparable piece would go for less than $1000.00.
