This is a water pitcher most commonly used in Turkey and the Balkans. Some are of very ornate handwork. Yours looks to be copper as most usually are. I don't know what the value would be, but copper is quite valuable by itself. Definitely a nice collector's piece to keep or sell.

I am seeing several similar items on eBay for about $50-$75 range.  I didn't think it was worth a bunch of $$... Just thought it was kinda cool. Sentimental value.  :-)
