I found some carnival glass items in an old abandoned farm house we are taking down. I was wondering about it's value. There was this hat a small vase and unfortunately a large vase that was broken.

I can't see the pattern very well, but I think it's the ever popular Daisy & Buttons. Is that what it looks like? It's more than likely made in the 60's. It also looks amethyst instead of blue so I'm not much help. Fenton has a purple one for $15 -- $20.00; I don't know about blue. I don't believe you would be able to get that much for it as the market is pretty saturated. The gold trim along the rim is throwing me. I know companies did paint carnival glass, but I haven't seen a trim painted. The pattern, piece, color, and being unusual matters for carnival glass values.

Hey. Your hat is a toothpick holder.
