Antique belt buckle

By Flowers4eden, 9 July, 2014
Description

I don't really have any information on this belt buckle. It was given to my grandmother, by a lady she used to work for. It comes in the original box, which is a very lightweight wood. I took a picture of the back of the buckles to show the small marking imprinted on each half. I am trying to find out any information I can get on this. Thank you.

Re: Antique belt buckle

Pair Kimono Belt Button/Buckles Also known as Sash buckles.... I think their Sterling silver .900.. some .900 is a 4 leaf clover mark. the blue Corrosion could be just Lead solder. But also could be copper under silver plate.. Have it tested.

Hope this helps .............test first. then worth  can be added,
