Della-Ware (1930's??) Ceramic Water Jug with Wooden Handle

By Stigi1976, 16 January, 2011
Description

Bought this at a garage sale years ago and wonder of its possible value and history. On the bottom is the name of the company Della-ware, and some faded stuff I cannot read and a number that I think says 13B.  For the right price it would be for sale, otherwise it will stay on my shelf. Thanks for any help.

Re: Della-Ware (1930's??) Ceramic Water Jug with Wooden Handle

Did you ever find out any info on this item? I have some plates that match and would be interested in buying if you still have the caraf.

Thanks

Re: Della-Ware (1930's??) Ceramic Water Jug with Wooden Handle

Della-Ware was made by Stangl, most of it dates from the 1940's-1950's, but looks older because of it's country style "hand decorated" design.
