Hi there, I have this plate and am wondering how old is.There is some indented marks broad arrow type plus another set of indented marks.I was told that John Maddock used this mark from 1896 to 1906.What is mind-boggling me is the broad arrow marks.any insight and appraisal woud be great thanks

Any marking with a Country of origin mark such as "England" generally post dates 1890 to comply with American import tariff laws. No huge value though, these were made in huge numbers for the Export market, most today go for less than $45.00.

Hi, The arrow marking makes no difference in terms of value. Many potteries used imprinted markings for inventory control, dating etc...
